BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF PARTNER
The Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) is a non-profit academic research institution closely associated with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. I-SENSE is one of the Research Groups of ICCS. It is committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and research innovation in the field of electrical, electronic and computer engineering and technologies.
Research at I-SENSE focuses on intelligent transportation systems, embedded systems, sensor networks and emergency communications, and it spans across many disciplines to address questions of global significance and local relevance.
PARTNER’S ROLE IN THE Nightingale PROJECT
ICCS is the Project Coordinator overseeing the smooth progression NIGHTINGALE and managing its administrative and financial aspects. ICCS research activities focus on the development and prototyping of a novel triage system (WP2).
ICCS supports the development of AI-based solutions for field data analysis (WP3) and contributes to the development and prototyping of AR functions (WP4) capitalising on its vast experience of applying AR technology in a wide range of application domains. Finally, ICCS supports communication, dissemination and exploitation activities of the project.
